What is the cost of the camp?
The camp fee is $150 per person. Please call the Vocations Office with any concerns regarding this fee.
Where is the camp?
The Quo Vadis Camp will be held at Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Huntington, New York.
When is the camp?
Campers arrive on Sunday, July 9th at 3PM. The camp concludes on Thursday, July 13th at 2PM.
Who are the counselors and leadership of the camp?
Campers will be guided by Rockville Centre priests, seminarians, religious novices, and lay faithful who have all been trained in modern youth ministry techniques as well as Virtus child protection procedures. All adults who participate, including clergy and religious have participated in Virtus: Protecting God’s Children and have been background screened.
Is there a nurse on premises?
Yes, there will be a registered nurse during the daytime.
Where will the campers sleep?
Each participant will have a private room with a twin bed or a room with bunk beds. All rooms include a private bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink.
Can you accommodate someone with a food allergy or dietary restriction?
Yes. Please contact us in advance and let us know if a camper has a food allergy or dietary restriction so that we may make accommodations.
Are snacks allowed?
Campers may bring snacks to share.
Is there a curfew or quiet hours?
Lights out between 11pm and 7am.
Are cell phones, iPads, laptops or other electronic devices permitted?
Campers may bring their cell phone, but it must be left in the room during the day. iPads, laptops and similar devices are prohibited.
Are family members welcome?
Yes, the opening mass on Sunday, July 9th with Bishop Barres will be for the participants and their families.
What should participants bring with them?
- Comfortable walking shoes/sneakers
